7 Days/6 Nights Bush and Beach Safari is a 7 Day adventure that is designed to give you the most of what Kenya can offer both in the bush and in the beach. This Safari takes you from Nairobi to the beautiful Amboseli National Park, Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks then to the white sandy beaches of the of the Kenyan Coast. The safari will give you an extensive 5 days road safari full of adventure and 2days of relaxing and enjoying the beach.

Amboseli National Park;

The Park is situated in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro about 265 Kilometers/ 159 Miles from Nairobi 4-5hours drive and about 40 minutes flight. You are guaranteed to enjoy the  scenic view of Mt Kilimanjaro, wildlife in their natural habitat including large herds of Elephants, Thomson and Grant’s gazelles, lions, cheetahs, leopards, bat eared fox, mongooses, porcupine, giraffe and yellow baboon among the many indigenous species of animals and birds.

 Tsavo West National Park;

Known for the scenery formed by volcanic activity more than 500 years ago including the Shetani Lava Flow, Mzima Springs, the Chiamu Crater, the Five Sister’s Hills among others combined with the semi arid flat and open fields make it a heaven for tourism in the country.

 

Tsavo East National Park;

Both Tsavo East and West are divided for ease of administration and have the same weather patterns and the same type of animals they are only separated by the Nairobi – Mombasa highway. However, Tsavo East (The larger of the 2) has more open fields and boasts of the Aruba Dam, Mudanda Rock and The Yatta Plateau which are very unique features in the Park.

 

Watamu;

Watamu is a small town located north of Mombasa about 105km and about 15 km south of Malindi on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. The shoreline in the area features white sand beaches and offshore coral formations arranged in different bays and beach. A large area of Watamu is protected as Watamu Marine National Park and  is considered one of the best snorkeling and diving areas on the coast of East Africa. The Park is home to the Historical Gede Ruins, and a number of sea creatures including the Green Turtles, the whale Sharks, Octopus and different species of Dolfins.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to Amboseli National Park

  • Your safari starts in the morning after breakfast at your Nairobi Hotel and drive to Amboseli National Park enjoying the wildlife on the way to the lodge.
  • We arrive at the Lodge in time for Lunch and thereafter an afternoon game drive where you will enjoy the wildlife in the sunset.
  • Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 2: – Amboseli National Park

  • On this day we start off with an early morning game drive which gives you a clear view of the snow peaked Mt Kilimanjaro and a chance to see the early morning action from the predators of the Park before they go into hiding due to the rising temperatures. We return back to the lodge mid-morning for your breakfast and prepare for either a visit to the Masai Village or an afternoon game drive or an afternoon rest in preparation for the next day.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park

  • After a leisure breakfast at the lodge, we depart overland to Tsavo West National Park as you enjoy the wildlife and the beautiful scenery. We arrive at the lodge at in time for lunch.
  • After lunch you will have a rest until late afternoon for an afternoon game drive which takes us to a visit to the volcanic activity sites like the Shetani Lava Flow, Mzima Springs among other sites.
  • Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo West –Tsavo East National Park

  • An early morning breakfast will give you the opportunity to pass through several interesting sites on your way to Tsavo East National Park in time for lunch.
  • After lunch, you sit back and watch the animals come to the water points all afternoon as you cool off from a long drive.
  • Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 5: Tsavo East National Park – Watamu.

  • We begin today with an early morning breakfast followed by a game drive on our way to Watamu. We will have Lunch on our way and arrive in Watamu in the afternoon.
  • You will have the relaxed evening to cool off the day’s safari and dinner later.

Day 6: Watamu.

  • On this day you will have your breakfast and drive around Watamu/Malindi to enjoy the scenery and the culture of the Swahili people including their food. You may also visit to the Malindi Marine Park, Gede Ruins, Watamu beach among other sites for the entire day.
  • Return back to the hotel for relaxed evening and dinner.

Day 7: Watamu – End of Safari.

  • This is the last day of your Safari and you have all morning to do some shopping around Malindi/Watamu town and any other last minute requirements.
  • After Lunch you drive to the airport for your flight to Nairobi and thereafter a flight back home.
